  • PHI Wide Receiver #16
Watkins took a step back last year, going from 647 yards to 354 despite playing all 17 games. There have been rumors Watkins is on the roster bubble, with his salary bumping to $2.7M this season, but the Eagles have talked up the contract-year receiver coming off a down 2022. Philly added WR Olamide Zaccheaus and RB D’Andre Swift this offseason, which could further cut into Watkins’ targets, but they should open 2023 in the slot.

  • DEN Quarterback #3
Rumors the Eagles made a play at Wilson have been circulating since last March, when Wilson’s QB coach said Wilson turned down Washington and an offer from Philly during the Combine. Wilson went on to set career lows under first-year coach Nathanial Hackett in Denver while an All-Pro season from Jalen Hurts led the Eagles to the Super Bowl. With Hackett fired, there’s hope for a Wilson rebound with ex-Saints HC Sean Payton now in Denver. Wilson underwent a knee scope after missing two games to injury last year and is expected to be ready for the start of OTAs.

  • PHI Running Back #23
We hadn’t heard much on Penny’s health since he went down last October for the Seahawks, but his presence on the June practice field for Philly means he’s ready to go for for 2023, at least for now. Penny was spotted both taking handoffs and running routes, so it does not appear he was limited. Paired with similarly-volatile D’Andre Swift, Penny is one of this summer’s most fascinating RB3 fliers in the Eagles’ high-powered offense.

  • FA Punter #13
Kern was cut by the Titans last season in training camp and briefly caught on with the Eagles, appearing in four games. An undrafted free agent out of Toledo in 2008, Kern was a three-time Pro Bowler and earned AP All-Pro honors in 2019. He averaged 45.9 yards per punt for his career and led the league with a 49.7 average in 2017.

  • FA Guard #67
Fluker, 32, last played in the league in 2021 before being released by the Dolphins with an injury settlement. A former No. 11 overall pick by the Chargers in 2013, Fluker showed up to Alabama’s pro day in April looking like an absolute unit. Appearing to be in far better shape than what we saw in 2021, it’s no surprise to see Fluker drawing interest from teams looking for offensive line depth. We’d expect Fluker to receive a few more workout invites if he doesn’t catch on with the Eagles.

  • PHI EDGE
Smith is one of several Georgia Bulldogs who will now suit up for the Eagles this season. Smith is an elite defender who played a key role on Georgia’s national championship-winning teams. He brings elite athleticism and a solid production profile to a defense that could use him all over the field, and will likely work his way into an every-down role.

  • PHI Tackle #65
Johnson played through a core injury last postseason after missing the regular season’s final two contests. The veteran underwent surgery on his torn adductor in February and announced on Twitter Friday that he had been cleared for offseason workouts. Among the league’s elite offensive linemen, Johnson, 32, will be a key part of a dominant Eagles rushing attack in 2023.

  • FA Defensive Tackle #74
Suh, 36, played eight regular season games for the Eagles last season after signing with the team in November. The team’s rush defense improved in the final half of the season with Suh in the defensive interior. It would hardly be surprising if Suh waits until the fall to sign with a team, avoiding the rigors of training camp.

  • PHI Defensive Lineman
Willock’s father is reportedly seeking $40 million for the death of his son, alleging wrongful death, negligent hiring, and negligence according to CBS Sports’ Shehan Jeyarajah. Willock was killed in a drunk driving accident last January and was the passenger in a car that was racing a vehicle driven by Carter. Carter pleaded no contest to the charges of racing and reckless driving and was sentenced to 12 months’ probation in addition to 80 hours of community service. The lawsuit also mentions Carter’s alleged “pattern of excessive speeding” prior to the accident as something Sarchione Auto Group failed to take into consideration when they provided him with his vehicle as part of an NIL deal.

  • PHI Quarterback #1
The game will be in Philadelphia, leaving open the possibility that Santa Claus will once again be booed in the City of Brotherly Love. Jalen Hurts and the Eagles ripped the Giants in the Divisional Round last January, cruising to a 38-7 victory on their way to the Super Bowl. Daniel Jones, after playing well in the Wild Card round against the Vikings, was shut down from start to finish, managing just 135 passing yards, no touchdowns, and one interception. Hurts threw for two touchdowns and ran in another while the Eagles piled up 268 rushing yards. The Christmas Day game could have major postseason implications if the Giants continue their upward trajectory with Brian Daboll at the helm.
